Parents, Lock Up Your Drugs

With the kids home on winter break, and friends and relatives visiting, it’s an excellent time to lock up your medicines—and keep them that way—so the toddlers and teens can’t get into them. Toddlers may mistake pills for candy. And teens may steal them for “pharm parties.”

Avoid the anguish, and the trip to the emergency room. Take this simple step to be safe. If you have expired or unused medicinesdispose of them properly.
