Do you like gardening? Do you like eating? Then Get Growing! is the program for you! Get Growing is an experiential summer program for youth entering Grades 6-8. Learn about the growing cycle of plants, organic gardening methods, insect control, plus more by working in the THMS garden. Discover simple ways to prepare fresh vegetables and how they meet our nutritional needs. Highlight … snacking on vegetables right from the garden and cooking with local chefs! It will be exciting, fun and a great way to stay active this summer!
